DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS
When it comes to disciplinary actions in Coach P Inc youth programs, it's essential to prioritize the well-being and development of the participants. Here is our four-step disciplinary action approach that will be implemented:

1. Verbal Warning
In the case of a minor infraction, provide a verbal warning to the participant, explaining the issue and its impact. Use this opportunity to emphasize the program's expectations and rules.
2. Time-Out or Suspension
If the behavior continues or escalates, implement a time-out or suspension from the program. This temporary removal allows the participant to reflect on their actions and understand the consequences. Clearly communicate the duration of the time-out or suspension.
3. Parent/Guardian Meeting
If the behavior persists or becomes more serious, arrange a meeting with the participant and their parent/guardian. Discuss the ongoing issues, express concern, and collaborate on an action plan for improvement. Document the meeting and any agreed-upon consequences.
4. Termination
In rare cases of severe or repeated misconduct, termination from the program may be necessary. This decision should be made after careful consideration and consultation with relevant stakeholders. Clearly communicate the reasons for termination and any steps for potential re-entry or alternative support options.
Remember, it's important to approach disciplinary actions with fairness, consistency,
and a focus on the participant's growth and development.
